About Us
I've lived and worked in Lakeland for over 20 years now.
I would like to think I'm a student of revival, with my favorite US revival being Cane Ridge and my favorite one to muse about and glorify God about being the Revival in the Hebrides with Duncan Campbell.
I was here during the many years that Rodney Howard Browne was a regular (campmeetings) at Carpenter's Home Church, before it was sold, and out came Ignited Church and another one.
I've spent many, many weeks at the Brownsville revival, standing in "single file line, watch your step."
I come from a Pentecostal/Charismatic background and still attend Pentecostal/Charismatic churches, believe in the Power of the Spirit and I am not a cessasionalist.
So, I've been there, done that, bought the tshirt and have the videos to prove it, and what I say about what's going on at the edge of the county, across town, on the other side of the airport, near an unreached, still, basically impoverished neighborhood, has merit.
But then, many others, from the links, do say it so much better.
I've been assisted by a couple of ministers, VineMan and LeeRichards, as well, with the posts.
Two of us live and work and minister here in town. All of us have friends and church family that go to or have gone to the revival.

Well, one of Pentecostalism's biggest heroes, Smith Wigglesworth, was known for beating the living daylights out of his victims...I mean, parishoners. :P
God says, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." I'm looking for the fruit here and it's not there that I can see.
I'm wondering where the Prince of Peace is in all this. None of this can be of the Spirit of God.
Really, I would like to see where you got your info on Smith Wigglesworth. If what say is is true can you tell me where it's documented?
I would suggest picking up Roberts Liardon's book "God's Generals". He is a Pentecostal historian, who did an entire chapter of his book on Wigglesworth. I am at work right now, but if you wish, you can e-mail me later and I can give you the page references when I get home
